Describing a Photograph : Texture

This photo is a good example of showing color and scale. A way the photograph color is that there are varies colors that are shown in the photo. It also represents scale since my front porch appears a bit big it is actually quite small, scale is the measurement with in the photograph.

The photo is a good example of movement. It represents movement since the viewer sees trees and some clouds that are around the photo. The picture is in black and white , apochromatic. Movement refers as the arrangement of the elements throughout the picture plane that forces your eye to move around the image. The pine tree to the left is distinctively located around the left border of the photo.

The picture of this flower is a good example of value. Its a good example of value because it has colors of a pink and red violet , the original color was light green. Another aspect on the picture that is form when you have a three dimensional sculpture that may be organic. In the elements of art value is the lightness or darkness of hue or natural color. I made this flower like this because i wanted to mess with the colors.

This photograph is an example of unit and harmony. Its a good example because when you look at the distinctive leaves that feel like there all connected to each other somehow. Another aspect on the picture is varietyI think the picture symbolizes both unity and variety do to the leaves seen in this photograph.

The photo represents both form and analogous colors. The photograph is of leaves that seem to have an illusion of a three dimension. The color of the photograph is red violet and yellow green that are analogous colors in the picture. The photo of leaves pop out of the other plant and have the colors that are analogous.

This photograph is of the tree bark. This picture greatly represents texture. Although since its a picture you can not feel the actual texture of the tree bark. This will give you visual texture to the viewer. Implying that you can't feel the picture but the viewer can see it not feel.

Describing My Photograph : Color , Scale (Polychromatic)

This photograph is a good representation of line since the small windmill palm trees leaves are sticking out it forms varies lines. The preferred color I made the picture was green and made the shade a black shape and it appears to give it like a stripped design. This is how this photograph represents line

This photo is an example of value because I have made this photo black and white giving it a natural darkness. Another aspect is that it has an emphasis on the tree located to the right hand side of the photograph. Giving the viewer where the main focus point is on the photograph.

Value / Emphasis
Analyzing a Photo: Color ; Secondary colors

The photo is made from various secondary colors and is a good representation of colors. The picture is of my small patio door. I had changed the curves of this photograph to give it more vibrant colors.

This photograph is an example of texture and line. The bamboo sticks. I believe they're a good representation of line. Since the sticks are smooth looking in the photograph. Often you can believe that the photo will have the same texture as the real object.
